Allison Nguyen is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham for BS-Biology, BSN, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Beginning her nursing career since 2017, Allison brings clinical experience, primarily in high-pressure, fast-paced operating room environments. she honed her skills in patient care, critical thinking, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams—skills she now applies to her work in psychiatry. Allison understands the importance of creating a safe, supportive space for
patients to express their struggles and collaborate on personalized care plans. She is dedicated to promoting resilience and empowering patients to take an active role in their mental health journey, ensuring they receive well-rounded, patient-centered care that fosters long-term wellness and recovery. Outside of her professional life, Allison enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking, and she makes it a goal to travel internationally at least once a year.
