Jessica Ebel

Licensed Professional Counselor

Jessica Ebel (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for empowering her clients. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Sam Houston State University, and after several years in the healthcare field, she pursued a Master’s in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.

Jessica has honed her skills in both private practice and at community psychiatric hospitals. Her therapeutic approach is eclectic, incorporating various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness techniques. A key aspect of her practice is the Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, which she uses to support clients grappling with body image concerns.

Jessica believes that clients are the experts of their own lives. She meets clients where they are, blending humor and authenticity to create a supportive environment. While she challenges clients to grow, she remains a steadfast source of support. Her experience includes working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, substance use issues, and those from LGBTQIA+ and non-monogamous communities. She also offers guidance through the psychedelic integration process.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her dog, Gemma, her two black cats, Eclipse and Cosmo, and her Little Sister, Analia, whom she met through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Fees for individual therapy with Jessica are $150 per 50-minute session.
