Dr. Redman is a psychiatrist dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals struggling with mental health challenges. After finishing her medical education at the University of Florida, Dr. Redman spent 1 year of residency in OB/GYN at Stanford, where she developed a deep appreciation for the intersection of mental and physical health for women. Dr. Redman went on to successfully complete 4 years of psychiatric residency at Stanford, where she served as Chief Resident and gained extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders.
Dr. Redman takes a patient-centered approach to care, using evidence-based practices to help individuals achieve mental wellness. Her approach combines psychotherapy, medication management, and a deep commitment to understanding each patient’s unique needs and experiences. Dr. Redman is particularly interested in interventional psychiatry such as using TMS, Ketamine, and Spravato to treat depression. She also has a special interest anxiety spectrum disorders, OCD, ADHD, and reproductive psychiatry (which includes pregnancy, postpartum, and difficulty conceiving). She is committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for every patient.
Dr. Redman incorporates lifestyle psychiatry into her treatment plans/practice recognizing the profound impact that daily habits, nutrition, physical activity, and sleep patterns have on mental well-being. Dr. Redman strives to help patients not only manage psychiatric conditions but also foster healthier, more balanced lives.
