Dr. Binh Ngolton is double board-certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized mental health care. He believes that a strong therapeutic relationship, grounded in trust, curiosity, and collaboration, is the foundation of effective psychiatric care.

Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Ngolton worked as an Industrial & Systems Engineer after earning a degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a Certificate in Industrial Psychology. During medical school at Mercer University, his peers nominated him for induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of his commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. He completed residency training in Adult Psychiatry at the University of South Carolina and fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Emory University.

Dr. Ngolton believes that each person’s mental health is shaped by a unique combination of biological, psychological, emotional, social, cultural, and life experiences. He takes a holistic, evidence-informed approach to treatment, working collaboratively with patients to understand the factors contributing to their concerns and to develop individualized treatment plans that foster mindfulness, resilience, and strength for meaningful, lasting growth. His goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where patients and families feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their journey toward improved mental health and well-being.

Outside the office, Dr. Ngolton enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, practicing meditation, swimming, dancing, traveling, and relaxing with cats close by for a well-earned nap.

We’re proud to share that our three affiliated practices—Psych Atlanta, Georgia Psychiatry & Sleep, and Roots Behavioral Health—are now part of the Hightop Health family. While each clinic has built its own legacy of trusted care, we’re taking the next step forward—bringing everything together under the Hightop Health name.

This change is part of our commitment to creating a premier, clinician-led outpatient mental health group that sets a new standard for comprehensive, compassionate care. Though the brand is evolving, nothing about your experience is: same expert teams, same innovative treatments, same personalized approach. Now unified by a single mission—to deliver better mental health care that inspires hope and lasting healing.

This transition won’t affect your care—but it will enhance the way we show up, work together, and serve communities across Georgia, Texas, and beyond.
