Kimberly Gibson, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting individuals with navigating life transitions, emotional regulation and navigating crises. Kimberly earned her Bachelors in Psychology from St. Mary’s University and Master of Social Work from Texas State University.
Prior to her current role, Kimberly worked in several settings to include inpatient hospitalization, working with individuals experiencing homelessness, dual diagnosis residential treatment and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
Kimberly’s approach to care is client-centered and solution-focused, with an emphasis on building rapport to strengthen the therapeutic relationship. Kimberly’s goal is to help individuals reach their maximum potential and seek out all resources that will help them accomplish that goal. Kimberly integrates motivational interviewing and solution-focused techniques to assist clients in developing autonomy, problem-solve and create lasting changes in their lives.
Outside of work, Kimberly is passionate about self-care and engaging in new opportunities. Kimberly enjoys reading, gaming and spending time with her dog, Jax.
