Vanessa is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Texas State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aurora University in Illinois. Having dedicated more than 14 years to nursing in both bedside and leadership roles, Vanessa brings a breadth of experience ranging from working with pediatric and adult patients to building and managing nursing teams.
Vanessa is passionate about helping patients navigate through mental health struggles. She embraces a patient-centered approach and prioritizes building trust with her patients. She strives to accurately understand mental health needs and help match each individual with the optimal care and treatment options.
Outside of work, Vanessa has an ardent enthusiasm for plants and gardening. She also enjoys camping, traveling, and playing board games with her two children and partner.
